As we expand our presence in North America, we are seeking a passionate, drivenSports Marketing Managerto lead our athlete, event, and community marketing initiatives in the USA and beyond. Based in Ogden, you’ll be at the heart of a thriving outdoor and endurance sports community.
Mission
The Sports Marketing Manager will own and execute Näak’s sports marketing strategy for North America, with a strong focus on building brand awareness and community engagement in the USA. You will develop partnerships with athletes, teams, and events, manage our ambassador program, and create impactful marketing activations that resonate with the endurance sports audience.
You will work closely with our sales, product, and digital marketing teams to ensure a cohesive brand experience across all touchpoints. This is a high-impact role for a creative marketer who lives and breathes endurance sports and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
1/ Athlete & Ambassador Management
- Identify, recruit, and manage professional athletes, ambassadors, and community influencers aligned with Näak’s brand values.
- Build strong relationships with partners to ensure long-term engagement and brand advocacy.
- Oversee contracts, budgets, and performance metrics for athlete sponsorships.
2/ Event Marketing & Community Engagement
- Develop and execute event strategies to maximize Näak’s presence at key races, expos, and community gatherings across North America.
- Coordinate booth activations, sampling programs, and athlete appearances.
- Support sales teams with local marketing initiatives in priority markets.
3/ Content & Campaign Development
- Collaborate with the content team to produce athlete stories, event recaps, and sports-focused marketing materials.
- Create marketing campaigns that integrate athletes, events, and social media channels to drive awareness and sales.
- Ensure all sports marketing content is on-brand and performance-driven.
4/ Sports Media & PR
- Build and maintain relationships with influential sports media, including podcasts, blogs, YouTube channels, and industry publications.
- Identify and pitch story ideas, athlete features, product spotlights, and brand initiatives to relevant media outlets.
- Collaborate with influencers and media partners to create authentic, high-impact content.
- Coordinate press releases, media kits, and interviews to maximize coverage and brand credibility.
5/ Market Insights & Growth
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and athlete performance to inform strategy.
- Analyze campaign performance and adjust tactics to optimize results.
- Identify new partnership opportunities to expand Näak’s reach in the endurance sports ecosystem.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in sports marketing, preferably in endurance, outdoor, or active lifestyle industries.
- Proven experience managing athlete relationships, event sponsorships, and media partnerships.
- Strong network of media contacts in the sports and outdoor industry is an asset.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal) in English; French is a plus.
- Passion for endurance sports such as trail running, cycling, triathlon, or adventure racing.

- Self Starter mentality, motivated to learn and grow
- Fluent in English / Bilingual in French a plus
