Biography

"I was born and raised in New Hampshire, chasing my older brother and sister around the White Mountains on skis and foot. I've competed in distance running since I was 7 years old and started exploring longer runs while working in the Appalachian Mountain Club's hut system in NH. By 2015, my adventures regularly looked like trail marathons in the mountains and a friend told me about some ultra races that would be cool to check out. I moved to Carbondale, CO in 2016. The last few years I've been competing internationally in 80km-170km races. I co-own and operate a ski boot company called ZipFit and I balance competitive running with ski mountaineering and biking here in Colorado's Elk Mountains. I think my greatest strengths in ultrarunning are my durability and focus on positive thinking."
